R is one of the last sounds children learn and one of the hardest to correct. Linda specializes in it, and she also works on other speech sounds that children find difficult.
Speech sounds and reading are closely linked. Linda helps children connect the sounds they hear to the letters they see, so reading becomes less of a struggle.

Linda Gunn has worked as a speech-language pathologist for 20 years, in public school systems and in private practice.
Over that time she has focused on articulation, especially the R sound. R is hard to see and hard to describe, so it often takes a specialist's ear and a lot of patience to get it right. Linda breaks it into small, achievable steps and celebrates each one.
She also helps children learn to read. Because she understands how speech sounds work, she can spot where a reader is getting stuck and give them a clear way forward.

One rate for articulation therapy and reading support. Sessions are in person in the greater San Diego area.
